Can't help react in 2 specific ways to an invention like this.

1. Intrigued
2. Paranoid

Intrigued because an invention like this removes a potentially unnecessary mental burden from humans and reroutes it to machines.

Paranoid because what happens once we've offloaded all  of our unnecessary mental burdens to machines?

Maybe we're left with a pretty amazing life where we focus on the couple of things that truly matter i.e. relationships, our passions etc…

Or maybe we become more pathetic than the humans portrayed in WALL-E.
